What is an Independent Living Community?

The term “Independent Living Community” is synonymous to a retirement community, 55+ community or an active adult community.  Usually, an Independent Living Community provides services like housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation services, maintenance, concierge and social or recreational activities, aiming to keep Residents independent longer in their home or apartment.

Addington Place offers two meals per day, weekly housekeeping, 24-hour security, safety features in each bathroom, transportation services for those who no longer drive, 24-hour fitness center, concierge services and a robust social engagement calendar to keep Residents active, healthy and socialized.
