The staff at Addington Place have worked around the clock to care for residents and ensure everyone remains safe and healthy while still engaging in socially-distanced activities, so when a local Oscar Mayer Hotdogger offered to drive his 27-foot long hot dog on wheels to the community, it had everyone saying, “hot diggity dog!”

Justin Mock, Administrator, decided to use the Wienermobile as a silly sight for residents to view from their apartment windows while offering employees a much-needed moment of joy. The leadership team grilled hot dogs for employees as they took turns posing for photos in front of the Wienermobile.

Residents got crafty and created signs to display their appreciation for the staff; the theme, well, it was one to be relished. Their signs read: “Let’s be FRANK, our nurses are the best!” and “Can’t wait to KETCHUP with you after all this!”

With the dedication from the nurses, maintenance workers, housekeepers, dining team, and office staff, this was a well-deserved time of laughter.
